Is affiliate marketing a complete system?”

Surely affiliate marketing is a complete system? somebody once asked me.

And to be honest to me that statement can be right and wrong.

To me it’s a bit like going for run to lose weight. Sure it works and you can probably
achieve your weight loss goals if that’s all you do.

In that sense, it’s a “complete system”.

BUT, you make life harder than it has to be.

Look at option two:

You mix your running up with speed work, interval training, circuits and weights.
Invest some time into nutrition and start to take care of your diet.

A multifaceted approach that’d lose the weight a whole lot faster, be a lot more
fun and probably add years to your life.

Now I might be wrong but for the most part it isn’t the ‘affiliate marketing’ you’re
interested in. It’s the END goal, the internet lifestyle, the financial freedom and achieving balance in
your life

It’s about living the life you WANT.

To me, affiliate marketing is a good place to start. A bit like running.
But not a complete solution or system.

As an affiliate you don’t have to be an expert, you don’t have to worry about product creation,
customer service and your sales funnel. You simply focus on driving traffic and
sending clicks through to the sales page or vendor.

The problem is you’re HIGHLY leveraged and lets say you rely on Google for traffic…
Imagine they turned all the front page, the top ten results on page one into paid
advertising… how would that affect you?

If you relied on it, it’d ruin you right?

Will they do it? Maybe, who knows, they can do what they want right now.
To me, affiliate marketing is like being an intern or doing an apprenticeship.
You learn how to drive traffic, you become a master of conversions and getting folk to
click through to your vendor.

But along the line its good to expand. To create your own products even if it does
mean occasional refunds, customer service and a lot more work.

Because now you understand marketing.

Now you have the skill sets to launch your own products, even if you simply pay
someone else to create it. And now you can have affiliates drive your
traffic and make you money…

… That’s close to autopilot.

All with a few affiliate sites chugging away in the background, bringing in more money.
It’s the beginning of your empire as you diversify your income and futureproof your
business.

It’s like adding intervals, circuits, weight training and diet into your weight loss
efforts. A bit more complicated but makes a whole lot more sense if you want to be around for
longer.

Plus you’ll make a ton more of the green stuff!

Now go get ’em!

You’re only 60 minutes from success…

Putting time into your business whatever it is, will always be for you.

How many people can honestly say they’ve
put a full 60 minutes per day into an
online project?

I mean a FULL 60 MINUTES without distraction,
without checking their email, without
reading a sales letter and thinking about
buying?!

How many people can honestly say they do a
full 60 minutes on one single project every day?

Not many I bet.

And I bet their results are all the same…

Pitiful, negligible and hardly life changing.

Their counterparts on the other hand, the
ones who put a dedicated hour of ACTION into
their business, are likely seeing results.

So here’s the butt kicking question…

How badly do you want it?

‘Cos I bet, no matter how busy you are, you
can spare a full 60 minutes daily.

And if you do, without distraction, you’ll
see a marked change in your future.

For just 60 minutes work.

I know I’m repeating myself. I just feel SO
strongly about this, so strongly I want to
grab you by the shoulders and shake it into
you.

Imagine this…

Day 1 & 2: Find a group of people to help

Day 3 & 4: Find the best 3 products to sell

Day 5: Set up WordPress site

Day 6: Write pre-selling page or article

Day 7: Rest

For the rest of your days you spend 30
minutes writing content and 30 minutes
getting traffic to your site.

That’s a total of 3 hours on content and 3
hours on traffic each week…

… and you keep going.

In one month you’ll have 30 articles bringing
in traffic, after 6 months you’ll have 180
articles online.

You’ll be kicking the crap out of every
half-hearted skinny little affiliate site
out there.

You’ll be an authority, you’ll stand out like
a fart in a elevator and have money, experience
and expertise to boot.

Quite simply, you’ll be well and truelly away
from that herd still chasing bright shiny
objects who think reading about success will
bring it.

Or if you’re a real daredevil, do 2 hours!

Sorry if I’ve labored the point, but it is
because I care and I believe it to be true.

See you in a day or two for scaling your
systems and going beyond “affiliatedom”

Are you losing clicks from your leaky site

Best way to cure your leaky websites and treble your clicks

There’s a lot of leaky sites out there.

Bad for business and bad for your affiliate
commissions.

You see it can be hard to keep content coming
and it’s bad to have an affiliate link in
every blog post or page.

Too unnatural.

What you gotta do is think of your site like
a funnel.

You write your content and it attracts traffic
from all over the place.

You’re getting long-tail keywords, forums,
blog comments, the search engines and
social shares.

The more content you have, the wider your net
and the more traffic you’ll get.

Thing is that traffic is hitting all your
pages. Some that sell but most that are
simply pure, quality content.

You have to funnel the traffic, from the content
to where it counts. Fortunately it’s very,
very simple.

First you need to identify your money pages.

The ones that pre-sell a product, do the
heavy lifting and are the BEST at getting
clicks through to your merchant or vendor.

These are your sales force, your Queen Bee.

You make sure this pre-selling content
features prominently on your sites navigation.

It’s above the fold and obvious for everyone
to see. You guide as many visitors to these
as possible.

Or instead of pages that link to a merchant
or vendor they could be capturing the emails
of your visitor and building your list.

Both work.

What you got to do is get all your content,
the pages, posts and articles linking to
where you want the traffic to go.

This content, there your worker Bees.

You write an Golf article on gadgets that
save you strokes on your game.

When you mention GPS devices you link to a
page that pre-sells the best one out there
and sends them to Amazon.

When you mention gadgets that improve your
swing you send them to an informative article
on how to improve your golf swing…

… that sends them to a pre-selling article
on an eBook that improves your golf swing.

You site becomes a big web, a big net where
the content captures the traffic and the
links segment and guide your visitors to
the most relevant information.

From there they get sent to your money pages.

Your site becomes a mini-internet in itself,
catching, collecting and directing traffic
towards the most appropriate content and
the best products to buy.

It’s not hard but it does take work.

Just don’t make the classic mistake.

Sticking affiliate links in every page, post
and article.

Be clever, add value, offer information, lead,
guide and help your visitor find the info
they want…

… and the product that makes it happen.

Next post’s an eye opener.

See you soon,
